iciHaiti - Security : Police operations in Delmas 24, Solino and Sylvia (Video)

Friday, January 17, 2025, as part of the fight of the Haitian National Police (PNH) against armed gangs, several specialized SWAT units, the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), the Temporary Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG) and the Heavy Equipment Unit of the PNH, carried out a series of police interventions in the areas of Solino, Sylvia and Delmas 24, in order to free various streets that had been blocked by criminal bandits.
During these operations, the police removed many barricades that the criminals had erected to prevent the police from entering these areas. Several spaces that had served as hiding places for criminal gangs were also destroyed.
