In the current difficult context in Haiti, where insecurity is compromising the balance of our collective life, the National Education Fund (FNE) reaffirms its commitment to the principle of the right to education for every Haitian child.

In this regard, as part of the Support Project for Schools and Families (PAEF) of students affected by insecurity, an initial group of 56 primary schools, duly identified in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area as being in a situation of high vulnerability and victims of gang violence, will benefit from one-off and targeted support provided by the FNE, in close collaboration with the Ministry of National Education.

Furthermore, an investigation is currently underway to identify students and their parents who have been forced to flee their homes due to the security crisis. The official list of beneficiary schools is now available on the FNE website: https://fne.gouv.ht/liste-officielle-des-ecoles-beneficiaires-paef-port-au-prince/ . It will be updated regularly to include other eligible schools.
