The Visa Application Center for Brazil (CAVB), operated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Haiti, informs that new appointment dates for VITEM 11 (family reunification) visas have been set for all appointments canceled on April 3rd, 4th, and 16, 2025, due to urban violence that forced the CAVB to remain closed for those three days. Those who missed appointments on other days while the Center was open, please wait until we have a new date.

The CAVB informs all those who have already submitted their applications in 2024 and 2025 that they are asked to be patient. Due to the current situation, the Embassy of Brazil in Haiti has limited resources for the mass printing of approved visas, as air travel remains disrupted. The Embassy is making every effort to maintain operational services despite these constraints.

Starting in May, the distribution of certain newly printed visas will gradually be facilitated.
