On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, as part of the national dialogue initiated by the Government ( https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-46519-icihaiti-politic-the-pm-engages-in-dialogue-with-leaders-of-grassroots-organizations.html ), Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé received leaders of grassroots community organizations from the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area at the Prime Minister's Office.

Discussions focused on national priorities, including public security, the return of displaced persons to their neighborhoods, the rehabilitation of strategic infrastructure, and preparations for upcoming elections.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Government's commitment to restoring public order throughout the country, an essential condition for the return of displaced persons, the resumption of economic activity, and the organization of democratic elections in 2026. He firmly reiterated that the State is the sole legitimate holder of public force and that no one can replace republican authority. He emphasized that impunity, in any form whatsoever, will not be tolerated.
