On the evening of December 31, 2025, Vladimir Paraison, the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), took to the streets to inspect the security measures deployed to ensure public safety during the New Year's Eve celebrations.

This inspection tour began at the Pétion-ville police station. Commander Paraison then visited several other strategic points of the security apparatus in the capital.
