Blood Transfusion Centre ultramodern

Closed since January 12, 2010, the National Blood Transfusion Center of the Haitian Red Cross (HRC), located currently (and temporarily) to Turgeau at the first floor of the Digicel, is back in operation. Michaëlle Amédée-Gédéon, President of the HRC "this service, it is the total modernity, it is the highest level of technology, I do not think there is a blood transfusion laboratory in the Caribbean that we can envy [...] we are equipped with all the equipment needed, whose a material called Automate and who made the automatic detection of pathogenic germs that may be contained in the blood [...] The technicians will no longer have to do manipulation, other than to put blood samples in test tubes [...]"

The Deputy Rodon Bien-Aimé criticizes the program "Ti manman chéri"

The Deputy Rodon Bien-Aimé, President of the Commission finance of the Chamber of Deputies, criticizes the program "Ti manman chéri". According to him, "What we need today is to create conditions conducive to job creation [...]" saying that Haiti does not need a welfare state and that the $13 million allocated for this program, could have been better used. Furthermore, he wondered, if this program is not a strategy to divert funds, and announces that the Minister of Economy will soon be convene before the Commission, to give explanation.

Me Mario Beauvoir on availability...

Me Mario Beauvoir, the Government Commissioner of the Croix des Bouquets, was put on availability. Me Beauvoir, said that the Minister of Justice, Jean Renel Sanon is directly involved in a decision that he assimilates to a revocation pure and simple. He recalled that this decision comes after he ordered on April 20 the arrest of Calixte Valentin and undergoes pressures of the Minister who wanted to obtain the release of the Adviser of President Martelly.

TV5 MONDE signs two distribution agreements in Haiti

TV5 MONDE just signed two distribution agreements for the return of the chain in Haitian homes. An initial agreement with the operator TNT "NUTV" (Digital Satellite System) which will offer TV5 MONDE Latin America and Caribbean in its offer from June 1, 2012 in Port-au-Prince, and then gradually nationwide. The other agreement, concerning the broadcasting on the cable TV network via Télé Haiti, again in operation since early May 2012.
