The National Directorate of Book wants to remind the public fond of books and of the reading in particular that within the framework of "Tuesdays of Book" 5 authors will sign their book this Tuesday, July 17 in the gardens of the DNL, located at number Pacot 10 street 3. They are : Gary Victor, Bonel Auguste, Rony Gilot, Pierre Delima and Judith Valérie Joseph that will sign respectively "Dossiers interdits", "Nan dans fanm", "Garry Conille ou le passage du météore", "Constitutions, lois et éducations en Haïti" and "La double tristesse de Sylvia".

Jeff Louis signs for three seasons with AS Nancy-Lorraine

Monday, AS Nancy-Lorraine, has announced the signing for three seasons, of Jeff Louis, 19, a native of Port-au-Prince who has 26 matches and 1 goals in Ligue 2 during the seasons 2011-12. After two years at Le Mans the midfielder from Haiti has signed a contract with the club Lorraine. Jeff Louis played twenty matches in Ligue 2 with Le Mans the last season and also has several selections with the national team of Haiti

Forum of Directors General

The forum of Directors General [an instance provided by the decree of 17 May 2005], and who brings together senior executives from the Haitian government, will be held this Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Hotel Karibe. The forum of Directors General, is an important tool that facilitates the implementation of public policies of the government, and allows a better coordination of government action. This forum will be chaired by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe and coordinated by Me Pierre Michel Brunache, Secretary General of the Primature.

Start of criminal assizes to Port-au-Prince

The criminal assizes (with or without a jury) began yesterday Monday in the capital. Jean Renel Senatus, the Government Commissioner reported that 122 cases will be addressed during these assizes involving over 300 defendants.
