Preparation of the caravan against extreme poverty

Last week the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, held a meeting of Coordination of Social Protection for the preparation of the caravan against extreme poverty. Was present at the meeting among others : Marie Carmelle Rose Anne Auguste, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Human Right and the fight against extreme poverty and Senator Simon Dieuseul Desras, President of the Senate.

Laurent Lamothe promises his aid to Linouse Desravine

On the sidelines of his visit of support to the Haitian athletes in the Olympic Village in London, our young judoka Linouse Desravine asked the Prime Minister to grant her a financial aid to help her to complete her studies. Without hesitation the Prime Minister promised his assistance. For his part, the Minister of Sports also committed to help our young judoka, when she will return to Haiti. "This girl has great talent. She is very promising. I will do my best to mentor her."

New ambassadors to MUPANAH

Friday, August 3, 2012, after submitting their credentials, the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Haiti Mr. laus Peter Shick and Mrs. Pamela A. White, ew ambassador of the United States of America in Haiti, have deposited a floral offering at the Musée du Panthéon National Haitien (MUPANAH) in memory of the fathers of the fatherland.
