Technical training in criminal investigation

The Minustah has organized from July 23 to August 6, 2012, a theoretical and practical training focused on the criminal investigation in favor of 15 officers of the National Police of Haiti, stationed in various police stations in the borough of Jacmel. This training was designed to help these officers to improve the wording of the minutes and the methods of investigation on the crime scene, even in the absence of a Judge of Peace.

Start of work of the HUEH in October 2012

The reconstruction work of the Hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH), destroyed by the earthquake of January 12, 2010, should begin as of October 2012, according to Marie-Carmelle Jean-Marie, Minister of Economy and Finance, the Haitian has $30 million to complete the money provided by the United States and France.

Serious accident on the national #2

Tuesday on National Road # 2 up to the Morne Moussignac, Miragoâne (South), a pickup of passengers from Port-au-Prince, lost control following a failure of his brakes and collided with a bus coming in the opposite direction. It is reported at least 4 victims and 16 injured who were taken to hospitals of the region to receive the treatment they needed.
