John Barnes, selected 4 young football players
The Jamaican international, John Barnes, former Liverpool player, has selected four young Haitian players who recently participated in the Digicel Kick Start Clinic : Jonel Désiré (15, attacker), Demorin Reginald (15, defender), Barthelemy Williams (15, attacker) and Alexis Jean Jacques (15, defender) that will participate in an internship at the Academy led by the technical staff of Chelsea, in Barbados in October.

The President Martelly met the members of the Social Movement "Tèt Kale"
The President Michel Martelly, accompanied by his wife Sophia, met Wednesday at the National Palace, members of the Social Movement "Tèt Kale" (MTK). The President Martelly has delivered on this occasion, to different recipients, 65 certificates of merit for their dedication as a rescuer during the Carnival of Flowers 2012. For his part, George Racine, President of the Academy of Motion "Tèt Kale" has congratulated the President Martelly, the main instigator of this social movement that aims to help the Haitian people to cope with difficult situations.

733 a phone number helpful
The Haitian Red Cross, in partnership with the International Federation of Red Cross Societies and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has established an automated phone line "Telefon Kwawouj" in favor of the population. Launched last May 28, 2012 on the tool free 733 from the networks Voila and Digicel, "Telefon Kwawouj" has already received 270,000 calls as of July 23, is 5000per day on average. The line has provided useful information to citizens on the prevention of cholera, disaster preparedness and other information relating to health or sexual activity.
