Professional courses in the academic curriculum

The Government indicated last week that it plans to introduce vocational courses in the academic curriculum of Haitian schoolchildren. The President Martelly intends to discuss with the education authorities so that these courses can begin in December 2012. The Head of State explained that the purpose of the introduction of these courses was to enable to the greatest number of young people as possible to have a trade at the end of their classical studies.

Bill Clinton visits Haiti this Monday

Former President Bill Clinton arrived Monday in Port-au-Prince. During his visit, he will meet with President Martelly and Prime Minister Lamothe. Former U.S. President should also visit the hotel school of Haiti, the Investment Facilitation Center and attend the signing of an agreement between the Qatar Foundation and the University of Notre Dame.
