Training workshop for entrepreneurs

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry organized a training workshop for entrepreneurs from various regions of the Country, on the requirements of national and international buyers in sourcing, and the formalization of enterprises.

Homeless World Cup, Haiti-Chile (6-6)

The Haitian team engaged in the "Homeless World Cup" organized by the Foundation TELMEX in Mexico after having defeated Canada on Saturday (8-0) defeated Sunday, Denmark (5-8) but was defeated the same days (7-3) against South Africa. Monday, Haiti won against Wales (5-8) but lost in its match against Mexico (11-3). Tuesday the team of Haiti made a draw (6-6) against Chile. Wednesday, Haiti will face Russia and Austria.

Reconstruction of the wharf North unsuccessful tender

On 22 March 2012, the National Port Authority had launched a tender for the design and realization of reconstruction work of the North Wharf of the Public Installations of the Port of Port-au-Prince. Following the opening of bids, the Commission has evaluated the tenders in full independence and in the utmost discretion, according to the wishes of the Law on Public Procurement. It appears that subsequently, the evaluation of bids did not allow to retain a provisional contractor under the prescribed of Tender Dossier. Consequently, the Directorate General of the APN, in accordance with the guidance of the CNMP : Declares unsuccessful the international tender for the design and realization of econstruction work of the North Wharf of the Public Installations of the Port of Port-au-Prince ; Opts for a solution tailored to the needs and circumstances, taking into account the best technical proposal.

Stéphanie Villedrouin met the Board of ATH

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin had yesterday a meeting with the Board of Tourism Association of Haiti (ATH) around the visit of UNWTO Secretary General, Taleb Rifai, in Haiti during the month of October.
