Haiti in final of the "Homeless World Cup"

Saturday, on the occasion of the "Homeless World Cup" organized by the Foundation TELMEX, Mexico, the Haitian team played a game (quarter finals) against Ireland, Haiti won (5-3), then won in semi-final a second match against Russia (5-3). Solar lighting

Some 4,000 families of Bellevue, La croix and Terre Rouge in the 11th communal section of La Montagne to Jacmel now benefit from solar lighting thanks to a Quick Impact Project (QIPs) with a budget of U.S. $ 24,775 for the installation of 14 solar streetlights. Apart from this project, the regional office of the Minustah to Jacmel financed the expansion of the electricity network of the Electricity of Haiti (EDH) and the installation of streetlights, in over 6 communes of Southeast.

"Ti manman cheri" to the Gonaïves

Saturday, October 13, the social program "Ti manman Cheri", went to Gonaïves where hundreds of school children accompanied by their mothers were together by departmental representatives of program, in the premises of the School of Basic Application (EFA) in order to receive of basic products and money.

New regional office of the OFATMA in Petit-Goâve

As part of the institutional strengthening at the level of the region and its policy of proximity of the community, Mr. Charles Jean Jacques Director General and Dr. Max R. Saint Albin Deputy Director General of the OFATMA have installed during a ceremony, 4 new executives to the new regional office of the OFATMA in Petit-Goâve. "This is in order to bring new life to the action of the institution, that the Directorate General just make a lot of sacrifices to relocate the office and especially strengthen its human potential, not on the basis of patronage, sponsorship or friendship but on the basis of merit [...]" declared Dr Max R. Saint Albin.
