Creation of an environmental vigilance cell

Rodolphe Joazile, the Minister of Defence, announced the creation of an environmental vigilance cell and the establishment of a medical unit of fight against infectious diseases. The Minister also announced the forthcoming creation of a corps of military engineers stating that from January 2013, nearly 60 youth, will follow in Ecuador a short training in engineering.

Jacmel, the first postal port international - English maritime history reports that after the loss of its possessions, English vessels undertook to provide postal links by serving the different islands and their mainland.
