In the new report of "World Economic Forum" published in April, Haiti is in 141st position in the 2013 global ranking of Information Technology and Communication (ICT). Haiti gained a place compared to 2012. Published under the theme "Growth and employment in a hyper-connected world," this classification was developed based on the "Networked Readiness Index" (NRI), which assesses the availability of 144 countries to use ICT, particularly in terms of growth, competitiveness and prosperity of their citizens.
