UNNOH calls for day of mobilization
Josué Mérilien, the General Coordinator of the National Union of Haitian Normale (UNNOH) announced a day of protest on May 14. The list of claims of UNNOH is long, the Union requires the payment of wage arrears, a base salary of 10,000 gourdes for teachers, and the appointment of qualified teachers in public schools, the construction of public schools, the provision of 34% of the national budget to education etc...

Peaceful coexistence at the Haitian-Dominican border
A mini-meeting of the Network Border Jeannot Success (RFJS) will be held from 12 to 15 May 2013 in Jimani around the general human rights situation on the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. On this occasion, members of the Haitian-Dominican National Coordinating RFJS will define better strategies face the multiple human rights violations repeated at the border. Over $53 million collected for PSUGO
