Mobilization of the emergency system

David Bazile Tuesday, the Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities, officially launched to the Emergency Operations Centre National (COUN) the mobilization of the Emergency System. The Minister also urged people to be vigilant against the threat of passage of Chantal on Haiti.

15.8 million of the Republic of China (Taiwan)

On Tuesday, the Chancellor Pierre Richard Casimir and the Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) accredited in Haiti, Liu Bang-Zyh, proceeded to the signing of a memorandum of agreement for an amount of 15.8 million U.S. dollars for the reconstruction of the building of the Court of Cassation and the restoration of the public square in front of the school of Magistrates on the road of Frères.

New DG to the OFNAC

The President Michel Martelly, appointed by decree on June 28, 2013, the citizen Léopold Martin Roumer, Director General of the National Agency of Civil Aviation (OFNAC). He replaces to this position Jean Marc Flambert.

60 million gourdes to deal with possible damage

Agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and the OAS

This Wednesday, the Ministry of Tourism and the Organization of American States (OAS) proceeded to the signing of an agreement on tourism aimed at raise awareness through programs oriented towards promotion of sustainable development, focusing on the potential of development of tourism in Haiti as a means of improving the socio-economic living conditions.
