Tender for mobile 3G/4G

CONATEL is preparing to make a tender for the granting of a new license to operate a mobile network 3G/4G in Haiti in the 1900 MHz frequency band after the disqualification of the PCS band, previously operated by Haitel SA.

Adoption of children, new obligations...

Last week, the Social Affairs Committee of the Lower House received representatives of institutions involved in the issue of international adoption and the fight against trafficking in Haiti. It was question to adapt the Haitian law o the Hague Convention on the adoption and to the monitoring that the latter requires for the protection of children involved and of a new draft law on adoption that would make obligation to the State to monitor adopted children for 8 years.

Towards lifting of the ban on Dominican poultry products ?

Sunday, the Dominican press reported that the Minister of Agriculture Luis Ramon Rodriguez, proposed to his Haitian counterpart, the Haitian Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, Thomas Jacques, a list of resolutions. Luis Ramon Rodriguez, believes that the ban on poultry products in haiti "will be resolved for the good of the economy of both countries."

33th meeting of board members of CARICAD

The General Coordinator of the OMRH participate in the 33th meeting of the Board of Directors of the CARICAD, a regional intergovernmental organization, created in 1980 between the governments of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), which specializes in the transformation of public sector and the modernization of Caribbean States.
