CONATEL is preparing to make a tender for the granting of a new license to operate a mobile network 3G/4G in Haiti in the 1900 MHz frequency band after the disqualification of the PCS band, previously operated by Haitel SA. Adoption of children, new obligations... Last week, the Social Affairs Committee of the Lower House received representatives of institutions involved in the issue of international adoption and the fight against trafficking in Haiti. It was question to adapt the Haitian law o the Hague Convention on the adoption and to the monitoring that the latter requires for the protection of children involved and of a new draft law on adoption that would make obligation to the State to monitor adopted children for 8 years.
