Frankétienne looking for young talent

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Frankétienne was on 19 and July 20 in Les Cayes in search of hidden talent among disadvantaged youth. On the menu of working sessions: music, singing, painting, poetry, literature and visual art. After Jacmel, Les Cayes, Cap Haitien soon and other provincial cities before arriving in Port-au-Prince, decentralization requires. Aspiring artists are no longer alone, the Ministry now operates on all cultural fronts.

Lake Festival

Tuesday, July 23, the Organizing Committee of the festival lake proceed to the official launch of the festival to be held at Natural Quisqueya Park of Fonds Parisien from 23 August to 1 September 2013. This is a permanent exhibition program of artistic production, craft, and of cultural event aimed, inter alia, to promote the Natural Quisqueya Park as eco-tourism destination in its artistic and historical natural, cultural aspects.

Distribution of 30,000 plants of yam

Last week, the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Developmentproceeded to the distribution of 30,000 plants of yam, to more than a hundred farmers in the Regio of Les Palmes, in Petit-Goâve.

PAODES-University visiting the North

Saturday, Northern Regional Office of the Ministry of Tourism has received a group of students of the PAODES-University (Port-au-Prince), who came to do a tour of discovery in the North Destination. These University students received a conference co-hosted by the Heritage Expert, Eddy Lubin who presented the theme "Cultural heritage of the North" and Kenrick Demesvar, Director of National Historical Park, which developed the theme : "A reflection on tourism in the world and its development in Haiti."
