Monday the nterim executive officer of Port-au-Prince, Joseph Pierre Richard Duplan, announced the recruitment of 250 young people will take place on 28 and 29 March for the establishment in the capital, of an Unit of Auxiliary Police (PAP BIM), which will be responsible for assisting the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in public safety.

Development work of the Beach of Anse d'Azur

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, after visiting the Beach of Anse d'Azur, the only beach of proximity for all categories of citizens of the city of Jérémie, announced that this beach will benefit from the following works : construction of a beach access path and landscaping, installation of toilets and showers; marking of the swimming area and clean up of the beach as well as the construction of a gazebo and an area of relaxation, overlooking the beach.

The Network of Haitian designers to EXPOCOMER 2014

The Haitian Network of Designers (HAND), will participate in the largest international fair EXPOCOMER 2014 to be held in Panama from 26 to 29 March. This initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, responds to the wishes of President Michel Martelly and his Panamanian counterpart Ricardo Martinelli, to support the fashion industry and clothing. Michel Chataigne, Maëlle Figaro-David, Phelicia Dell, Maggy Durcé, Daphnée Floréal, Nora David, Stéphanie Dartigue, Michaelle Baussan and Géralde Romain are the designers who will showcasing their products at this event.
