Below are the steps for obtaining a National Identification Card through the Embassy of Haiti in Canada:

Step 1 : Appointment (Online or In-Person):

Visit the Embassy of Haiti in Ottawa’s website to book an appointment at https://ambcanada.gouv.ht/missions/nos-services-consulaires#cin, or arrive in person to join the queue.

Step 2 : Day of the Appointment:

The National Identification Card (CIN) is the official Haitian identity document. The consulate facilitates the application and renewal process for the diaspora.

Required Documents :

Completed application form (to be filled out at the Embassy)

Official records : Birth certificate and baptismal certificate

Step 3 : Delivery:

The Embassy will contact you to pick up your card.
