Inauguration of Chansolme Health Center

Monday, the First Lady Sophia Martelly participated with Dr. Florence Guillaume, Minister of Public Health, at the opening of the Health Center of Our Lady of Lourdes of Chansolme, commune of the borough of Port-de-Paix (Northwest Department). The center was built with funds from the Haitian public treasury and will serve the population of the surrounding areas.

Working lunch at the residence of Prime Minister

On Monday, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, met in his private residence, as part of a working lunch, the Ministers of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, of the National Education, Mr. Nesmy Manigat, of Commerce, Wilson Laleau and Haitians living abroad, François Guillaume II. Discussions focused on tourism development, identification and integration of the Diaspora, access to education for all, the facilitation of investment and job creation.

Training on management of income generating activities

30 disabled people and parents of disabled children recruited by the Foundation "J’aime Haïti", following a 6-day training on the management of income generating activities in the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities. The training was carried out through the Kapab project, thanks to the partnership between "Christian Blind Mission" (CBM) and the Foundation "J'aime Haïti".
