Mission of the Minister of Tourism in Côtes-de-fer

Saturday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) accompanied by Andy Durosier, the Director of the Unit for Studies and Planning (UEP) and other executives of the Ministry, conducted a mission to Côtes-de-fer in order to meet various organizations in the 6 communal sections, on the sidelines of the "Gouvenman an lakay ou" program to be held in Côtes-de-fer (the birthplace of President Martelly ), Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014.

Destruction of marijuana fields

The police and judicial authorities in the South-East have recently proceeded to the destruction of three marijuana fields near Belle-Anse (Jacmel) in the village of Bois-Kodenn. 3 people were arrested.

Project Development for the North Destination

Thursday in the City Hall of Cap-Haitien, Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Regional Director North of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), met the main Mayor, Yvon Alteon, of members of the World Bank (WB), representatives of the Institute for Protection of National Heritage (ISPAN) and of Ministry of Culture on the Development Project of the World Bank for the North Destination.

Distribution of School Kits to St Vincent Centre

Friday, Gérald Oriol, Jr., Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) has distributed 330 school kits at St. Vincent Center for Children with Disabilities. The students received in the kit, school bags and conventional supplies. This donation, made for students with special educational needs, is part of the collaboration between the BSEIPH and the Ministry of Education.
