Rivers and gullies in flood in the North East

Friday, the Civil Protection announced that heavy rains have hit towns of the Northeast, and that of rivers and gullies are in flood. It also announced earlier that the rivers Limé, Grande Rivière de Nord, Borgne and Bayeux was in flood in the North.

"Investing and invest in Haiti : an act of faith"

Donation of $30,000 from the UPS Foundation

The UPS Foundation (United Parcel Service, an agency specializing in the transportation of packages and freight), presented a check for US $30,000 to the YMCA organization, to subsidize two community centers of YMCA Haiti for its Literacy program in Port-au-Prince and Laboule.

Expansion work at MUPANAH

Thursday, Michèle G. Frisch, the Director General of the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH), received the visit of a delegation of "Haitian Heritage Museum" led by Mrs. Eveline Pierre. Mrs. made with the delegation a guided tour of construction sites of the Museum extension. Note that the "Haitian Heritage Museum" is a museum, which is invested in the promotion of culture and the history of Haiti in Miami. This museum has presented exhibitions realized by the MUPANAH.

US Delegation to the Ministry of Communication

On Thursday, the Minister Francois Rothchild Jr., received at the Ministry of Communication, a delegation from the Embassy of the United States to Port-au-Prince.
