iciHaiti - Politic : The OAS mission met Daniel Supplice

On Saturday, the delegation of the Organization of American States (OAS) had a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti to the Dominican Republic, Daniel Supplice. The latter was composed of Francisco Guerrero, Secretary of Political Affairs, Frederic Bolduc, OAS Representative in Haiti, Gabriel Bidagain, Advisor to the Secretary General, Steven Giner, Senior Specialist and Rebeca Omana, Specialist at the Secretariat of Political Affairs.

The mission came to see and listen, the objective sought is to collect in an objective and impartial manner, in the Dominican Republic and in Haiti, the maximum of information of all actors involved in the regulating migration processes implemented by the Dominican Republic (Government, civil society, business sectors and migrants) to draft a report on the situation between the two nations, which should be useful to both parties and allow facilitate dialogue.
