iciHaiti - Social : Solidarity March for Haitians in DR, without incident
Tuesday, to the call of the Collective December 4 and fifteen organizations of Civil Society, more than a thousand people participated in a solidarity march for the thousands of citizens, as Haitians than Dominicans of Haitian descent, victims of arbitrary and the Order TC-168/13 of the Dominican Republic. Several presidential candidates have been noticed in the march of Dignity, including Charles Henri Baker (Respè), Dr. Maryse Narcisse (Fanmi Lavalas) and Me André Michel (Jistis)...

After the march of dignity, a delegation went to the Primature to hand to Prime Minister Evans Paul a petition demanding that the rights of our compatriots in neighboring Republic are respected.

The Head of Government accompanied among others by François Jr. Rotchild the Minister of Communication had a meeting with members of the Collective December 4 to analyze the grievances of civil society on the situation "Gouvènman an tande tout doleyans reprezantan sosyete sivil la, e li pran nòt. Peyi a se peyi nou tout, pwoblèm yon ayisyen se pwoblèm nou tout, nan tèt ansanm nap pote solisyon ak pwoblèm konpatriyòt nou yo," declared Prime Minister Paul.
