iciHaiti - Health : 1st Edition of the Health Fair of Government Youth of Haiti
Thursday, August 20 at the Auditorium of the National Old-Age Insurance Office (ONA), the Government Youth of Haiti (GJH), will hold the first edition of the Health Fair 2015 on the theme "Youth is committed to a Health System Structured, Efficient and multidimensional." This fair is organized by the GJH, together with the Ministry of Public Health and ONA.
This meeting will be marked by the presence of several personalities including the First Lady Sophia Martelly,and of Health experts including Florence Duperval Guillaume, the Minister of Health, Dr. Jean Patrick Alfred, Dr. Franck Geneus, Dr. Jerry Chandler and the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, Gérald Oriol Jr.
This fair will be focused on impacts of the Millennium Development Goals in Haiti for Public Health and the outlook towards the Sustainable Development Goals, that the Haitian authorities will have to sign to the UN in September 2015 in New York.
