Monday as planned, the extraordinary session of the Bac examinations began in the 10 academic departments. 29,675 candidates undergo these exams, which will end Thursday, August 20th.

According to preliminary information received from the Regional Directorates of Education (DDE), the operations run smoothly so far. Observance of instructions on the timetable, wearing of the obligatory uniform and cellular, this is the general observation on the ground. Several responsible of Centres and supervisors interviewed in Port-au-Prince are satisfied to date of the good performance of these exams. Candidates for their part say they appreciate the clarity of the texts submitted to the exam of philosophy.

According to the estimates of the National Office of the State Examinations (BUNEXE), the treatment of copies of candidates began Tuesday and correction, from Wednesday.

Tuesday, Social sciences and chemistry were at the program, this Wednesday the candidates will pass the exams of mathematics and English and will finish on Thursday with Physics and Spanish (Philo C).
