Monday in press conference, Jude Hervé Day, Minister of Trade and Industry intervened among others, on the Support Programme for Micro Enterprises (PSME) that consists in a Technical and Financial support to Micro Entrepreneurs https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14648-haiti-economy-support-program-for-micro-enterprises.html

He revealed that 20,000 micro businesses are targeted by the Ministry of Commerce in its accompanying program, so that they all become bankable (fundable), claiming that the proliferation of Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is an effective strategy to employment creation.

The Ministry Day, recalled that the Martelly administration has created in 2013 a guarantee fund for small entrepreneurs equipped with 300 million gourdes.
