iciHaiti - Security : Emergency kit contest, an original idea

On Friday, the Civil Protection Directorate (DPC) of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities organized at Iron Market, Boulevard Jean Jacques Dessalines; with the support of civil Society, the Contest, « Yon kit, byen vit »
Fifty competitors constituted into 9 teams divided in three 3 categories (Child, Elderly, Handicapped) alongside of a group of merchants and brigadiers mobilized in the circumstances, had in less than 20 minutes, to proceed to purchase of more possible elements to enable them to build an emergency kit in case of natural disasters (batteries, radios, flashlights, food and hygiene etc...)
After the event, which took place in a good mood, with the participation of an audience of merchants, buyers and many curious, the winning teams received premiums by category. Note that all teams are left with the items they had purchased, in order to preparing their family emergency kit.
