In Bas Cousin, in the Bas Artibonite, armed individuals, identified as escaped prisoners, are terrorizing the population.
For several days, in the communes of Lascahobas (Centre) and Chardonnière (South), armed individuals intimidate the population, according to local authorities, who demand a strengthening of security in the region as the elections approach.
Tuesday, after a chase, the Haitian National Police (PNH) shot down a suspected robber and arrested another in Croix Périsse, first communal section of Estère (Artibonite). These two individuals were pursued by PNH officers since the city of Gonaïves, before being arrested and end their fled to the ravine à Couleuvre.
