iciHaiti - Reconstruction : $32M for bridge reconstruction work on the Rivière Grise
Following the partial collapse of the metal bridge on Route 9, Friday, March 18, https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-16913-icihaiti-flash-bridge-collapse-on-riviere-grise.html the Ministry of Public Works announce repair work for the bridge.

These works also include those provided on the bridge of Croix-des-Missions (on the National Road #1) which had sags of 10cm https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-14947-icihaiti-flashthe-bridge-of-croix-des-missions-sags-10-cm-update-3h25-pm.html were estimated at 32 million US dollars, including the technical studies. No date has been specified for the start of the works.

It should be noted that this work will be financed by Japan in effect regardless of the March 18 incident, Katsuyoshi Tamura and Lener Renaud Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed in September 2015, a grant agreement of 30 million US dollars [the most important contribution of Japan in one agreement], for the rehabilitation of the bridge of Croix-des-Missions recently closed because of sag and of that the road #9 that provides access to the National Road #1, damaged during the earthquake of January 2010.
