Thursday morning April 5 at the Hotel Kinam, will be held the presentation of results of the first analysis of the situation of biomedical labs in Haiti as part of SPHaiti Lab project.

This presentation will be held under the high authority of Daphnée Benoit, the Minister of Health in the presence of Vincent Degert, Ambassador of the European Union, Elisabeth Beton Delègue, Ambassador of France in Haiti, Dr. Jacques Boncy, Director of the National Public Health Laboratory (LNSP), Dr Paul Adrien, director of the Director of the Directorate of Epidemiology of Laboratory and of Research (DELR), Dr Charles Stalz Vilbrun of the Haitian Study Group on Kaposi's Sarcoma and Opportunistic Infections (GHESKIO), Benoît Miribel, Director General of Fondation Mérieux, and representatives of among others the WHO, CDC and the French Development Agency (AFD).

This analysis is a first realization of SPHaiti Lab project, designed by LNSP as part of an ambitious plan of the Ministry of Health to strengthen the laboratory sector in Haiti.
