Earlier this week, former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe sent a correspondence to Ronald Larèche, President of the Senate, requesting a copy of the investigation report on the management of PetroCaribe Fund achieved by the Commission "Ethics and Anti-Corruption" following the distribution in the press of an executive summary.

In his letter he deplores "[...] that matters of State requiring the greatest serenity are treated without respect for the Sitizens and former Grand Civil Servants having served the Nation in often difficult situations and conditions," the former Prime Minister "urge members of the Grand Corps to demonstrate denegation against all inclinations of use of republican functions for partisan and personal purposes," concluding "Being attached to good governance primarily imposing accountability, I remain at the disposal of my country institutions to contribute to the manifestation of truth on the usage of State resources under my administration [...]

Pending the communication of this report that will let me produce the notes and appropriate reserves before its sanction by the Assembly of Senators, please receive, Honorable President, my patriotic greetings."
