Haiti - FLASH : 1st FestiVIL of Port-au-Prince (Program)

As part of the European Union-funded Program for Support to Reconstruction and Neighborhood Development (PARAQ), which has been deployed in 10 neighborhoods (8 in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area and 2 in Petit-Goâve), the actors of the program and the mayor of Port-au-Prince launch the first FestiVIL of Port-au-Prince, which will take place on Friday 9 December from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Place Jérémie.

In the program :

EXHIBITIONS :
- Exhibition on projects in neighborhoods developed with PARAQ support;
- Constructobus of the Ministry of Public Works;
- The Graffiti artists of the Collectif Basquiat (live performance).

WORKSHOP :
- The children draw the city, its houses, its gardens.

DEMONSTRATIONS :
- Roller skating show in Port-au-Prince;
- Sapotille dance show "les Hommes d'Afrique" (Carrefour);
- Spectacle of slam and dance of the Martissant neighborhood

MUSIC :
- ASÒTÒ of Petit-Goâve ;
- RARA of Desprez ;
- BIC.

MOVIE :
- Films of projects in neighborhoods;
- MEWM films you in the crowd;
- The PARAQ film;
- "HOME", by Yann Arthus Bertrand, Creole version by Franketienne.
