These arrests were carried out at the military checkpoints of Matas de Santa Cruz, Santa María and Copey Montecristi, as well as Cañongo and Don Miguel of Dajabón. All our compatriots were taken to the headquarters of the 10th Infantry Battalion in Dajabon, where they were interrogated and identified, before being returned to Haiti by the immigration authorities.
