The National Blood Transfusion Center is not able to satisfy the demands in blood bags, said Marckenson Altis, representative of the National Transfusion Safety Program (PNST), which specified that, in order to meet the different demands of hospitals and meet the needs of the population, the Haitian Red Cross needs at least 70 blood packs each day.

He took the opportunity to highlight the importance of organizing blood donation days to supply the blood bank, such as the one organized on Wednesday at Nouveau Collège Bird by the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA), in partnership with the PNST on the theme "Thanks to your blood, I am still alive".
