After his swearing-in, Me Claude Michel was installed at the head of the Croix-des-Bouquets Procuratorate by Jean Claudy Pierre, Director General of the Ministry of Justice as the new Government Commissioner. He replaces Me Mario Beauvoir.

In his speech Jean Claudy Pierre, invited the new Commissioner to work for the strengthening of justice in the jurisdiction.

Speaking, the new Government Commissioner promised that he will work to the distribution of sound and impartial justice for the benefit of all litigants os his jurisdiction stating firmly, "Bandits, spoilers and all lawbreakers will be repressed with the utmost rigor."

Me Claude Michel is a Professor of Labor Law at the State University of Haiti. Until his appointment as Government Commissioner to the Court of First Instance (TPI) of the Croix-des-Bouquets, he was, during the last 5 years, Deputy Government Commissioner near the TPI of Port-au-Prince.
