This week, the Foundation Dr. Louis G. Lamothe (FLGL) initialed a contract with the Catholic NGO CARITAS for the rehabilitation of several houses in Anse du Clerc, a communal section of Abricots, in the department of Grand'Anse, severely damaged following the passage of Hurricane Matthew on October 4, 2016.

To date, the Foundation has carried out several distributions of seeds, agricultural implements, building materials and fishing equipment in order to enable families to resume their daily life and economic activities. Together with its partners, the FLGL, will also undertake the rehabilitation of the Health Center and the reconstruction of the National School of Anse du Clerc.
