iciHaiti - CEP : Indirect elections, process under way

The Provisional Electoral Council (PEC) organized, with the support of partners including the United Nations Development Program (UNDP-Haiti), the training of 55 senior trainers and 17 coordinators in the planning of indirect elections that concerns :

- Members of Municipal Assemblies (Deliberative Body / Commune);
- Members of the Departmental Assemblies (Deliberative body / Department);
- The members of the Departmental Councils (Executive Body / Department);
- Members of the Interdepartmental Council (Deliberative Body / National).

According to Léopold Berlanger, President of the CEP, $ 700,000 will be needed to organize this election.
