iciHaiti - DR : CONATEL receives its Dominican counterpart

This Tuesday 25 July, the Directorate General of the Executive Body of the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL) receives a delegation of its counterpart : the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel).
On the Agenda it will be question of :
- problems of radio interference in the border area;
- problems of cross-border penetration of radio stations;
- problems of cross-border penetration of Haitian mobile services in Dominican territory;
- the coordination of frequencies for the transition to digital television Dominican Republic-Haiti (ITU-COMTELCA project);
- the reactivation of the 2007 cooperation agreements between the two institutions.
