The Brazilian Embassy in Haiti announces that Brazil's Defense Minister Raul Jungmann will be in Port-au-Prince at the head of a high-level delegation on 31 August.

During his stay in Haiti, Minister Jungmann and his delegation will meet with government authorities and will participate in the closing ceremony of the operations of the Brazilian Military contingent at the UN Mission for the Stabilization of Haiti (MINUSTAH), to be held on 31 August, at 7pm, at the base of the Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT), located at Camp General Jaborandy, Tabarre.

The Brazilian peacekeepers will begin to leave Haiti gradually the next day.
