Friday November 16th in Les Cayes, as part of the ONA-Fanm credit program launched in August 2017 by President Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21835-haiti-politics-launch-of-the-ona-fanm-credit-program.html , Me Chesnel Pierre, Director General of the National Office of Old-Age Insurance (ONA), accompanied by a delegation of officials of the Office, presided over a ceremony organized for the training and the distribution of loans checks to 500 "madan sara" preselected according to their eligibility. This credit is intended to help these "madan sara" to start a small business, or to enlarge the one that already existed.

Chesnel Pierre also took the opportunity to meet the managers and employees of the office of Les Cayes to motivate them and help them better understand the vision he intends to print to this service institution recalling the slogan of ONA "Let's insure the young, let's protect the old", pointing out that we could also add "let's assist women".
