iciHaiti - Politic : Demonstrations may seriously affect the results of State exams 28/11/2018 09:39:42
Senator Nippes Denis Cadeau (Bouclier), Chairman of the Commission "Education and Vocational Training" is concerned about the loss of school days and the disastrous consequences of the demonstrations on the results of the already weak State exams in "Normal situation". He regrets that Haiti is the only country in the Caribbean to have less than 200 days of classes per year... The Senator Cadeau urges the Ministry of National Education to take measures to allow students to recover lost school days and asks the National Police Superior Council (CSPN) to take all necessary steps to ensure an indispensable security climate for the smooth running of school activities. Finally, the Senator challenges the opposition and asks it to make a truce and think about the education and the future of our children by allowing classes to continue in classrooms throughout the country.
