iciHaiti - Minujusth : $63,000 donation of support equipment to the Ministry of Justice

As part of the Governance component of the agreement between the Haitian State and the United Nations system establishing the Sustainable Development Framework for the period 2017-2021 (UNDAF), the United Nations Mission in Support of Justice in Haiti (Minujusth) handed this week to the Ministry of Justice an all-terrain vehicle, to facilitate the accomplishment of missions in the regions. The vehicle, worth $34,458, was jointly financed by Minujusth and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
In addition, a lot of office furniture and computer equipment was delivered, intended to support the capacities and to improve the working conditions of the Service of the judicial inspection and the service of the control of the grafts and parquet, of a worth $28,377 and financed by Minujusth,
These grants are part of a series of activities of the Institutional Support Unit, whose main objective is the revitalization of the judicial inspection and the performance of inspection missions in the public prosecutor's offices of the 18 courts of first instance and 5 courts of appeal of Haiti.
