The Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL) is one of the four institutions awarded the 2018 Lucienne Deschamps Humanitarian Award, in fact Michèle Duvivier Pierre-Louis, President of FOKAL, received this award during a recent ceremony held at the El Rancho Hotel.

The President of the Foundation dedicated this distinction to the work of the whole team of the Foundation, which was represented at the ceremony by a delegation composed, among others, of the employees of the various programs housed at Avenue Christophe or Parc de Martissant and the Chairman of the Board Maxime D. Charles.

Founded in 2010, the Lucienne Deschamps Humanitarian Award aims to honor outstanding non-profit individuals and organizations in the humanitarian field. The Prince Albert School of Monaco II, Promart and Hero Client Rescue complete the list of distinguished institutions at this edition of the Humanitarian Award.
