Friday the Divisional Commissioner Jean-Claude Benjamin, communication manager of the General Inspectorate of the National Police of Haiti (DGPNH) presented a report of the activities of the year 2018, which should be mainly:

700 complaints were filed against agents of the PNH among others for abuse of authority, breach of trust, aggression, threats, illegal arrest...;

42 revocation measures were taken against officers of the PNH;

89 precautionary measures and 29 isolation measures were also taken against police officers;

70 police officers were honored for their professionalism;

27 police officers died : 10 were shot, 2 were stabbed, 6 were by suicide and 8 were by natural causes.
