Haiti is currently going through a deep crisis. Since Thursday, February 7th, important demonstrations take place, the demonstrators claiming in particular the departure of the President, Jovenel Moïse; many Haitians have already lost their lives, businesses and institutions vandalized...

Faced with this situation, the Quai d'Orsay declares "In recent days, the violence in Haiti (shooting, roadblocks, attempts to loot etc...) have caused several victims and caused significant material damage. This Monday, the situation remains very tense in Port-au-Prince. A call for blocking the country was launched by several movements.

It is recommended to postpone travel to Haiti until further notice."
