On Friday, May 10, early in the morning, the members of the specialized Land Border Security Corps (CESFRONT) seized an important cargo shipment at the mouth of the Blanco River in Jimaní Province (West Dominican Republic), an important shipment of contraband goods, consisting of 17,000 packages of 20 cigarettes of different brands from Haiti.

The Haitians who accompanied the cargo fled during the military intervention.

The seized goods were transported to the Jimaní inter-agency base for the corresponding purposes.
