It was the Cayman Islands that opened the score [0-1] before Peterson Joseph Jr. equalized [1-1]. In a combination with Djimy Bend Alexis in defense, Delentz Fertil-Pierre scored against his own camp restoring the advantage to the Cayman Islands [1-2]. Under pressure and dominated for a good part of the game, our Grenadiers had to wait until the double of Peterson Joseph Junior to find the tie [2-2], score remained unchanged at the end of regulation time allowing our national team to lead the group C to qualify for the second round after a complicated match... Qualified, our Grenadiers will face soon in their first match of the second round the "Bajan Braves" of Barbados (Group B). A second round or 8 teams will compete to try to obtain one of the 3 tickets giving access to the final phase of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
